How to Reconnect Your Sungrow Solar System to Your Home Wi-Fi Network

Before diving into the reconnection process, gather some essential information. Make sure you have your home Wi-Fi network name and password readily available. Additionally, locate the serial number of your Sungrow solar inverter, which can be found on the side of the inverter.

Step 2: Connect Your Device to the Wi-Fi

Using your smartphone or tablet, access the Settings menu. Look for the option labeled "Wi-Fi Settings" and tap on it. Once you've located the inverter Wi-Fi network named "SG-******," select it.

Step 3: Login and Configure

Once your device has successfully connected to the inverter Wi-Fi network, it's time to open the Sungrow iSolarCloud app. Login to your iSolarCloud account, and upon accessing the app, tap on the "MORE" tab located in the bottom left-hand corner of the page. Next, select the "WLAN CONFIGURATION" tab.

A pop-up notification will confirm that you have successfully connected to the inverter. Tap "NEXT" to proceed.

Step 4: Network Setup

Now it's time to connect your inverter to your home Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN)/Wi-Fi. On your smart device, go back to the Wi-Fi Settings and select your home Wi-Fi network from the list of available options. Enter the password for your Wi-Fi network and wait for the "tick" symbol, indicating a successful connection. Tap "NEXT" to continue.

You will receive a notification confirming the successful connection of your inverter to the home network. Congratulations! Your inverter is now reconnected.

Step 5: Reboot the iSolarCloud App

To finalize the process, it's recommended to reboot the iSolarCloud app. Simply log out of the app and log back in. This will reset the data connection and ensure a seamless experience. Once you've completed this step, your Sungrow solar system should be up and running smoothly again.
